Wilfred (also known as Wilfred the Dog) is the titular protagonist in both the Australian and U.S. versions of the show.
He is played by Jason Gann.
Description
Wilfred is a beer-drinking, cigarette-smoking, foul-mannered dog.
Most people tend to view him as simply a dog, while Adam (or Ryan in the U.S. version of Wilfred) tends to see him as a guy in a cheap dog fursuit.
